SnoZone Scotland going Cairngorm

Hey guys, for those of you who live within a reasonable distance to the Braehead Xscape, SnoZone there are organising a ski trip to the Cairngorms (16th of April) - This Friday coming.

Just thought i'd give you guys a shout about it;

I am thinking about joining them on this trip - Of course, as mentioned in the link - is weather dependant.. But we can always hope!

am interested but as you said only if weather is decent
i might also just drive up on my own since 45bucks is a lot considering i dont need equpiment.

It's true GBP45 being a lot if not needing equipment - but usually I don't have the car to use as I share it with my sister and she works a lot

Still, it's a good deal if you've no way of getting up and the like :)

winds are looking high for tomorrow so im going to maybe head up with a mate to nevis on sunday as reports are saying 15-20mph instead of 55!

pabs that is saturdays forecast which is why im staying put in glasgow til sunday!

Isolated snow and hail flurries
Just the threat of the odd flurry of hailor snow, most likely Lochaber.

is for sunday-much better (apart fromt he "hail flurries")

Im in Ggw jsut now feeling a bit rough :lol:

Going to head back to Hburgh in an hour or so. Plan is Nevis Range for tomorrow. Looks liike it is back to full winter gear.

BTW. Cairngorms park+boardercross that they are making looks amazing.

Yeh they do and I hear it is quite good but I'm not much of a park rat.

Looks like only the gondola is due to run as of 8.30 this morning-maybe it is just a mistake on the website but gale force winds didn\t sound too appealing.
