Backcountry.com is a good store. You need to watch for their sales, and their outlet store.
http://www.backcountry.com/store/group/277/Mens-Ski-Jackets.html
My favorite brand for best value is Sessions

Check German online retailers. www.snow-expert.de, www.sport-kaechele.de, www.skixpress.de or Conrad. There are of course more and they carry many brands. For those living in Europe it can be a better option because delivery is cheaper. As for brands Mammut and Arc'teryx make good clothing and many others as well.

You don't need to know German for online shopping - you can choose English as the language, there is normally such option on their websites.

I don't know if Steep and Cheap, and Tramdock work in the UK, but if they do, and you have a US shipping address, it's hard to resist some of the deals. It's a one item at a time outlet for Backcountry.com.
Little boxes at the bottom of your browser, let you keep an eye on what's the latest items, often at 60% to 75% off.

Here's a site that monitors the items that have finished (and also gives you the opportunity to buy any left over at 40% off)

http://gearattack.com/items
