Yay im going to Les Deux alps

Just found out yesterday that i have a all payed ski trip to Les 2 alps as a VIP with cyrstal holidays, my place that i worked with gave four places to the top four instructors. So now im heading to Les 2 alps, staying in Grand Tetras where all the cyrstal staff stay. Also i dont have to spend a cent on any drink or lift pass or ski hire :).

Im just wondering how many people been there and whats it like, been told its party central but thats about it.

Well done you :thumbup: I have skied L2A many years ago, steeper runs are close to the village, easier stuff up top.
I have no idea about the partying, I like cocoa and a good book :D

lol sounds like fun. All i know is that we are about 4 min walk away from a chair lift and was told that we can sometimes ski to the chalet

Skiing is also up both sides of the village, which is long and straggly. Not sure which side you'll be on. Obviously only 1 side has the lifts up to the glacier!

You can also take a day in La Grave, I think it's included on your lift ticket, but you'll need to confirm that. It's possible to hike over to LG from the top of the lift system, but I've not done it.

L2A has a rep for lots of sicky toilets the morning after, and if you are there with reps, you are going to be leathered 24/7 and not do too much skiing.

so i guess the high death rate on LG is because of idoits with major hangovers. Il be mostly training, i dont really have any interest in drinking all the time. My main interest is steeps and moguls, mainly moguls.

Have fun.
I went through La Grave last week. It is literally 1 gondola and no pistes. It looked quite mental. It was also minus 27 all week.

lol savage, the other instructors where talking about different training drills they want to do. So they are also up for going out on the LG
