Well, what a pest, having to pack up the kit again for 11 days in Fernie!! First visit and looking forward to the new experience.

Anybody have any advice or must do's? We are staying in the resort rather than the town.

Anyone heading out?

Try a day at Kimberley or Whitefish in Montana for a little bit of variety as Fernie is a small resort and you might find 11 days a little repetitive (I did!)

Hope it stays cold for you as I went in March and the snow was wet and slushy by the end of the trip.

Feb and early march are most reliable but in general Fernie is prone to some mild weather at any time.

Hi guys

2 of us (couple) from Australia will be in Fernie from 26th Dec 2010 till March 1st 2011 and are in need of accommodation!! Finding it difficult as right in the middle of the season for only 2 months.....any tips or help? Thanks!
