back from a fab week and back held up!

well I got through the various customs what with my suitcase like a pharmacy of numerous prescription pain killers! and day 1 ski i intended to do green and blues - got up the mountain did a blue then a red and deided what the heck lets do the Yeti! - came down it a breeze ( its a black) I had a wonderfull time with my daughter the conditions were absolutely fab and I couldnt wish for a better time Now sad to be have to be saving up for next year so lets hope I dont do my back in again!!!!!

:D Thanks everyone - Im absolutely shattered mind you on account of getting up at 4am french time - whats also good is I got the recipe for the best crepes ever as well from our little creperie the proprietor of which is named Betty ! - anyway looking fwd to crepe day on turesday as well. Iwill go to bed soon dreaming of the fab time me and daughter had - she was in her element on the "mogly" runs as well snow park ski jumps and of course off into the tracks in the forest! there is nothing like a good ski holiday you get to meet like minded people have all your meals cooked for you with no washing up and best of all you excercise like BillyO and absolutely enjoy it and go do some more the day after!!! Thanks everyone ...

my mum's called betty too :D :D :D
my sons can't wait for pancake day. I hope I can do it half a good as the french. [I can toss them quite well :lol:]

Perhaps you would like to share the recipe with us.....is there a section for recipes on the forum? Glad you had a good holiday....thank goodness you didn't cancel!

its flour eggs sugar some vanilla sugar milk pinch of salt and butter I'll find the quantities later and post again but all I can say is they are delicious and Betty will kill me if she knows I have shared her secret! - Boy they are good as well especially steaming hot, eaten outside with the snow just gently falling! - I found her shop when we got back after a little shop and all the ski instrucotors were queing up for them ( always a good sign I thik if the locals are queing for them)!! :wink:
