3 Valleys

Hi all,
Im planning a trip to the 3 valleys ski area a week saturday. i interested in staying in brides les baines but wanted to know if its possible, should we miss the gondola from meribel, to be able to ski down the olympic gondola pathway back to brides les baines from meribel?

Any other thoughts as to where may be best to find good value accomodation, lively night life and decent access to the liftswould be greatly appreciated ( i know i dont ask for alot)

Hi Scotty,
I was staying in Brides over Christmas New Year and I am back on the 9th Hosting for another two weeks.
If you miss the Gondolla you can ski down to Les Allues weather permiting but you would still need to get a Taxi from there.

To ski to Brides is an Itinery and can only be skiied about 20-25 days per year and then only with somebody who knows where they are going.

Last Gondolla down in 5PM from memory maybe a little later in Feb.

As a guide taxi from Meribel for 4 people works out about 10 euros each.

Most companies in Brides offer at least one night out in Meribel and will arrange taxis or coach and some even alow for one night apres in Meribel.

Its pretty good in Brides though. :)

I have the 3V's piste map here and it says that gondolla link from Meribel to Brides-les-Bains (Olympe 1,2,3 ?) shuts at 5 p.m up to the 5th Feb, and then it shuts at 5-30 p.m.

Im going to Brides on the9th with Snowbreaks.
Who you going with?

jonah, we are booking tommoro to travel out on the 6th for a week. ill have a look at snowbreaks too , thanks!
