Re:Snowdome Which one ?

The two centres use different snowmaking systems. Tamworth is almost always hardpack, and the uplift is the weird and wonderful travelators, which make the bases of your own skis grubby and black. That aside, Tamworth has a bend, which makes the slope seems longer.

Re:Snowdome Which one ?

We went to the Manchester one, ChillFactore, and we didn't think it was any better than the one in Milton Keynes. It was okay, but nothing special. However, my daughter was very keen on the extremely large shopping centre across the road in Manchester!

Ally

Re:Snowdome Which one ?

Manchester ,the snow is better and the slope is wider . The top bend at Tamworth is always icy and it seemed like a lot of people didnt bother going to the top so to miss it,which means going on the rope pulley and getting in the way of folks having there lessons .
Haven't been to Manchester since before Christmas but the Saturdays that we went before were quite :)
