Mobile coverage?

Long-time lurker, first-time poster...

I'm considering a trip up to Scotland around New Year. The conditions look great (especially Cairngorm!) and I can stay in Fife.

Problem is, I have to carry a phone with me this weekend for work purposes :cry:

So the slightly strange question: do any of the Scottish hills have mobile coverage on either Vodafone or O2? I would hate to miss out on what looks like it could be a great weekend, just because I have to hang round waiting for the phone to ring (which it probably won't).

I'd really like to get to Cairngorm, but I'll happily settle for anything as long as it's got a bit of snow, a bit of a slope and mobile coverage....

Due to the nature of my social life ) , I regularly make calls on the lifts at Nevis, Glencoe and Glenshee. No idea about the other 2.

I've never had any coverage problems with O2 at any of the resorts
