<description> They aren't really an essential piece of kit to be honest, I only use one when packing my skis to put on the plane so they don't rub against too each other and possibly scratch.. hehe&lt;br /&gt; But I guess if you're one for hiking it that bit extra up a slope you can't reach otherwise, yeah a ski tie would be good to make it easier to carry :)</description>

<description> Ski ties are nice if you are loading skis in, and out of cars, for transporting skis in top boxes, or the back of a van, and if you walk any distance with your skis. They stop that tell tale scraping on the base near the tips, and just make carrying ski and other stuff easier. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; The only thing I like to see is that the foam rubber part is not slippery. They tend to slid down on very shaped skis.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Trencher</description>
