Hoping for a new 5 string banjo. Trouble is, this is one of those things that you have to research and try, before letting the OH buy it, put it under the tree, then act surprised and delighted when it is opened!

Looking for a keyboard for my N+D.

Have two other banjos, one was given to me, pub standard, but now is difficult to hold the tuning.

The first one, a Clifford Essex, I bought off my Drawing Office section leader for GBP3.00, when I was 17. CEs are now bringing GBP800/GBP1000 apiece.

Also have 3 accoustic guitars, including a 12 string, a Fender Stratocaster electric, a violin, and a mandolin.

Just wish I could play one of them!

None for me this year, but my daughter is a different story. She is starting on the high school ski team this season. She will be opening a bunch of wrapped presents tomorrow, because she will need them before Christmas. GS suit, Team Jacket (Descent), side zip pants, Race helmet with chin bar, goggles (tinted and clear), race shorts, race gloves, new poles with guards, shin guards, new large insulated boot/clothes bag, ski bag, team sweats. I've been shopping for months getting deals on this stuff, but it's quite a hit. Luckily, I bought her slalom skis last year, and her boots still fit her.

I might get some new strings for my guitars :D

Trencher, Oh that is a big hit. But we will be looking out in 5 years time for Little Trencher on the Alpine Tour!

I usually say nothing, as well, no really, "Aw, well, since you ask, a season pass for Niederau!"

Its not worth going for one week, better make it two weeks, just to be on the safe side. Brecks at 9000 ft, so you need a day to acclimatise!

During which time, you are not supposed to do alchohol!

OH got them on ebay. I'm not supposed to get them till Thurs, cause that's my birthday, but..........I opened them early. :mrgreen:

all I want is a good pair of socks (in case snowb@bdit is reading!) given up on the adidas climacools with perscription inserts... my hints dont seem to drop somehow ! maybe I need to bump into things muttering about "The glare..the glare!" more often

A bit sad but I brought my self a nice black and orange Salomon X-wing soft shell jacket the otherday to go with my new boots woohoo but im hoping that somebody leaves me a pair of salos under the tree to go with them, I've also asked for more boarding socks and maybe a pair of gloves but i'll be happy with anything )
