I know its a poor attempt at creating topic but its all I could think up.

The Alice one is complete tac, any music from sixties through to now suits me ...... I don't really know why I responded to the thread as I don't normally do apres 8)

A funny song for Sauze a few years ago was 500 Miles.
They was a band playing in the bar and they wouldnt sing.

So we did and ended up over singing the band who had to stop and most the bar joined in.

Hi finn

I think you mean Alice by Dr Hook, Smokey sang the 'clean' version and Dr Hook knocked it up a couple of levels. My 7 year old sings it as '
Alice, Alice, who the beep is Alice' He thinks it is hilarious - am I a bad parent :oops:

I must admit, I do like apres ski music - sets the tone for the night :D

Sounds like your lad is just like my children, they love the apres after skiing especially when the Dutch get going! Dare say our children are going to grow up with a weird taste in music. :lol:

I now have the most annoying ski song EVER in my head. Only played in Austria that Ive heard (probably why I don't go there very often).

Skifahren.

Anyone else know it? Its highly irritating.

Ahh, now that's the kind of Apres Ski we love!

First time you hear it you'll probably think what the h*** but soon after you'll be singing along with them.
Mostly with the wrong words!!

I always find it annoying when you really like one and you can only think of it in English terms.
There's one I only know for the line that sounds like... Got a big chester

I start to listen to them in the weeks leading up to my next holiday.

How about this a bar that does not play loud music where the art of conversation has not died and the price of drinks are still reasonable ........... there are still bars like this about and I shall be visiting one
in March 8)

Never found one yet in Austria, hotel bars tend to be a bit quieter but bars on the main street tend to be mad. Great if your into that sort of thing.....99 red balloons usually gets the Germans singing. :-)

This is a traditional Italian locals bar where you get treated as a local run by a nice family, what more would you want 8)

The Dj at the Austrian skiresort i was at last week played German dance song about Apres Ski with the words "Apres Ski" repeated several times as the corus. Does anyone know the song im talking about?

This song seemed to be playing everywhere we went in Les Men a few weeks ago! :lol:
