Doesn't look right to me - Easyjet Ski Carriage is 12kgs so a total of 32Kgs checked in allowance not 50! Ryanair allow 20kgs????

Defo not right and must be out of date. Excel, My Travel and First Choice airlines no longer exist, and the prices for ski carriage are all totally wrong. This might have been accurate at some stage but it is most definitely not current.

Tony,
I'm pretty sure I saw a plane with First Choice written on it, a few weeks ago when we went to Tignes. I didn't know they'd finished.

Ally

As an airline in their own right they are no more. It is now Thompson Airways. However, Thompson kept many of the old FCA planes and a lot of them still havent been refitted or painted so you might well see some of them about.
I'd be a bit worried if I saw an A321 at Tignes though....

Re:This might be helpful to some of you...

I'm sure I read somewhere that BA started to charge for ski carriage as from October this year and I thought that Easy jet charged GBP18.50. Not double checked that, so might be wrong.
Snowb4ndit,
It's not your fault that Which is out of date with its advice on this particular occasion.

As you said, they're usually pretty good.

I was wondering if we're allowed to put up the Easy Jet consumer helpline number, for people. I needed to speak to them about something, and I couldn't find their number anywhere on their website, and I got hold of it in the end by going on another consumer chat website and searching for it.

Ally

It's useful information, I don't see why it would be a problem but I'm not a moderator! :D

If they have a consumer helpline number then let's be helpful and let the consumers know! Post it here. 8)

Re:This might be helpful to some of you...

Thanks Admin,
The Easyjet consumer helpline telephone number is:

0871 244 2366

I got through pretty much straight away, both times I phoned them, presumably because no-one else could find the number!

I had to phone them because I'd booked our seats months ahead using a passport which was due to run out before the flight, and then we got a new passport and I needed to give them the new passport number etc.

There are no 'tickets' as such any more - the electronic ones are linked to the passports, and if the actual passport details are different to the ones you entered when booking the flights they say you won't be able to fly.

The Easyjet lady who answered my call was very helpful and friendly, and she updated the details, and agreed to send me an e-mail saying she'd done so - which she later did.

I expect one can update passport details somewhere on their website, but I couldn't find out how to do it.

Ally
