So a couple of pics of autumn weekends on Europes glaciers.

Okay, wheres the snow?!?!?

Ah, there it is (from the top of the KM)

30/40 minute queues for the drag lifts

Love the access run from the top of the KM through the tunnel

Beware of crevasses!

2nd trip to Zermatt and the 6 man lift is open...bonus!

Well, you cant go without photographing the mountain

Just finished setting up my new rig for the Tux :) What shall I call her?

The ponciest Hot Hoddy on Earth :shock:

61km open on the Tux

"Tara" frightens her owner a little

You got the map mate? Me neither! Just walked back up to the piste, which we had easily lost!

They only had the vintage left, oh well.

I am so jealous!!!!!! I have to wait until January 30 for my first snow fix (unless I can talk OH into the deal I found for xmas :lol:)

Quite a few, but a lot are weekends or long weekends. Managed 30 days last year. I live in Sothern Germany, so I can get to many resorts for between 80-100 Euro return. In high winter I can ride locally for about 68 EUR a day including tansport, ski pass and accomodation in the Black Forest.

Name for the board based on her characeristics )

Strangley attractive, a little above my level, a little tempremental, quite an edge (or two) on her, and loves the powder

All my boards have names, it's like a car or a boat.

As to the lycra clad skiiers there was a lot of them, it's funny the pro's of all nationalities had to queue up with us plebs apart from the Swiss who were ushered to the front of the line through a different channel.

I told you, I don't know what grundgy or rad mean :wink:

Zermatt looks good, but I really do not like the look of those queues.
