Morning All

Just moved back to the UK after a good few seasons out in the US, just found the forum which looks great and means I can chat to fellow skibums addicted to the white stuff.

100 days till my first ski trip to France :D the count down is on and looks like the snow is starting to fall.

Going to valfrejus with freinds, looks like a small resort but with some good off piste possibilitites????, has anyone skied there?

Yep went there March 2003 it is an OK resort not much in the way for experts some steep stuff at the top, there was an off piste excursion over the top to Bardonnoccia which at one time they were going to link the two resorts, quite apres ski a couple of good restaurants, there was enough skiing for us as Little W was only 14 months so we only skied for three or four hours a day.
There are other resorts near by Val Cenis, Valloire,Valmeinier and you can even get up to Val Thorens via the Orelle lift just down the road, we went in early March and the snow was beginning to suffer because of the sun, it was very warm. 8)
