Ski Training Injury - Promote SnowSports and Shoot a Dog today

So I'm pedalling my bike on this sunny evening up our local hill... and this short, fat ugly little **** of a dog decides I'm its dinner...

...so I get half my bike ride and a bonus trip to the docs for a tetanus jab... awesome evening. :evil:

Seriously. Shoot your nearest dog (guide dogs excepted, of course).

OUCH! :(

That doesn't look good....was the dog ok, it might need some antibiotics.....

We can get some of the boys to go round if you want?,animals are ok if they are kept under control if not they're a damn liability,mind you a friend of mine took in a stray that chased cyclists, joggers, posties and just about anything else he could sink his teeth into...even had the same jogger twice once, Jake chased him and bit him on the arse, and then had him again a couple of days later in another park, my mate decided to walk him in a different park but unfortunately the jogger had had the same idea :(.

Hope it heals ok.....if only you had been wearing ski boots???

I have always hated dogs. Skidaddle's girlfriends mum (tentative link) has a vile hound. A Lassie dog that got its legs cut off at the knees. I call it Basil. I dont know why, it looks like a toilet brush. Maybe thats why. Maybe its called Basil. But its vile.

But not as vile as the short heared lurcher his mother has. He walked it round to mine one morning, and as soon as I opened the door it laucnhed itself inside. Its very gay, for a dog. I hate dogs.

And horses. Horses are evil.

My mother's short haired lurcher, Gracie, is fabulous. And you luuurve her Tony.

And my girlfriend, her mum, my mum, their respective dogs and myself all think you're vile.

Gracie is some kind of repulsive cross bred lilly livered skinny runt. And Basil shakes in fear at anyone, pathetic creature. I'd have them both put down if I were you.

you're lucky ! when i got bitten over here, it was off for an immediate rabies jab. It was still swollen and bleeding a bit 7 days later, and on a quick trip to Germany, i popped into my old doctors and paid an arm and a leg for some hi tech bandages and plasters that seemed more suited for having a leg off. I dont go that way on the bike any more.

Shocking. A dog can make you go a different route? You should complain to the local authority, have it exterminated and continue to bike wherever you want. I'd have sued the owner as well.

Yeah, but you live in Europe and i live in Thailand (which also suffers from a shortage of ski-slopes, though there was a few inches last year in the north). Here, it is virtually impossible to get a dog put down, vets wont do it as it is a 'bad' thing to do. sue the owner ? if you can find them (most dogs dont have a home). Even then, it would take years through the courts. Not sure its legal either to put down a dog just because you want to - i have heard you have to get an order first. Its the Buddhist way - let the dogs starve / rot /whatever, but dont let them be put down. Dont get me started on this topic ! :(

They are both Golden Retrievers, but the new feller is white, with black eyes, sharp teeth, (Oh, I am sorry Admin :oops:)

He is the quickest on learning work that we have had so far. But then, he's a guy!

Honestly I'd say I would too. I go to bigger ones like Huskies and Bernese mtn. dogs. This little thing is my parents pooch. I would like to stuff it in my ski coat and ski with her.

The white dog looks like a white retriever.

Seriously though, was the dog accompanied by an owner and what did he/she do or say? That mutt should be put down now before it does some really serious damagage. Your leg looks sore, I hope it heals quickly...but imagne if your leg had been a baby!
