<description> Hey guys,&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; any recommendations on hotels and transportation companies that can take me and my family to and from Whistler? (coming in from the airport)</description>

<description> Hi Jim,&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; There are regular buses from Vancouver airport up to Whistler. If you google the airport, you should find some detail. Seem to recall it was a couple of hours journ.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; There is an alternative. You can go airport info desk, and order a driver and SUV, the cost not much more than the bus, and you get reclining seats, with driver commentary.</description>

It should be quicker to get to Whistler now though due to all the work done on the sea to sky highway for the winter olympics. I think you can also get there by helicopter but not 100% on that. We stayed at Pacific Pallisades hotel in downtown Vancouver and the Best Western Listel in Whistler, both were very nice but I think most the hotels are very good anyway.</description>
