Freshers weeks

Have just been looking at Inghams ski and notice that they advertise Freshers weeks ski. Basically its 16th jan and 27th March, countries to be decided. Its aimed at first time skiers, you just pay for flights and accomodation and all your kit, tuition and lift passes are free. I am very tempted because we usually book a couple of lessons in resort any-way and have to hire kit.

Re:Freshers weeks

I was under the impression it was only available for complete beginners, and anyone who were competent skiers would not be able to book. Not quite sure how they would police it though?

It is for complete beginners but I am a good actress. Fake a few lessons, have the kit and lift passes for the afternoons free.

I've heard of these before, great idea but like TH said how would they police it?

Don't think I'd get away with it somehow, turning up with my skis and boots in tow and making a bee line for the lifts as soon as I got there.

Worth giving it a go though Rose.

Re:Freshers weeks

I thought those free beginners lift passes only covered a couple of the easiest runs. I seem to remember reading about them somewhere - Val Thorens perhaps?

Ally

Re:Freshers weeks

That would very much depend on the resorts available on the deal
