Morillon 1100 booking ski lessons

Trying to book lessons with ESF for my wife and nursery for my son, it appears you have to send a cheque in euros to them. I have tried booking on line has anybody else sent a cheque or what does everybody else do?

We are going in Feb 1/2 term so can't risk booking when we get there.

Thanks Craig

Re:Morillon 1100 booking ski lessons

Hi, Craiggggg5

I usually send the booking form with the deposit in cash (Euros). I make a note on the form that I have enclosed the cash.
I have done this twice and never had any problems but with other resorts.

Skisuit.

I normally book on line and pay with credit card, have not experienced any problems but I do not normally book this early... 8)

Thanks for the reply, I have tried booking on line but it doesn't seem to be working. I thought about sending cash but i wasn't sure if there was somebody there all the time or just in season

Yes, I think the later might be correct, ESF are normally about around October/November time, it is the same with lift passes normally available the same time.. 8)

Re:Morillon 1100 booking ski lessons
I dont usually send the booking form and money till December when the new season prices appear.
I would try booking on line (if this is available for your resort)November/ December time.
I have checked the ESF website for the resort I am going to for half term next year and it says that booking on line is not available yet so I think its just too early.

Skisuit

Re:Morillon 1100 booking ski lessons

Hi Craig,

There aren't really any advantages to booking this early, and if, for any reason your trip had to be cancelled, there would be disadvantages.

Enter the action into your diary TBA in early December.

French side should be fine. Do check the prices both sides though. Recently French side has been around GBP50 per week cheaper. If your flight arrives on the Swiss side you will need to enter the French sector of the airport.
If you get a French Hire Car, you won't get Winter Tyres, a set of chains, or a Swiss Motorways Vignette in the package.
It is possible to reach GVA airport without going on Swiss Motorways, but if you go through the Bardonnex Swiss Border Post, you will get charged for a Vignette!!! 40CHF, non removable sticker.

Wickers, the Border Guards have encountered all the tricks ) Quite often, they will stick it on your windscreen for you :D Failure to display, or failure to attach permanently is about 200Sfr fine I think, plus the cost of the Vignette natch )

They carry guns and have no sense of humour

Thats the only reason I do it because they are so grumpy and intimadating, I think they need to teach the swiss border police a few manners and a course in customer service !!!!!!
