Pavel New Quiz or how to get free ski material

Well the skiing season is nearly over in the Northern hemisphere and I do not want you skiers to get depressed,,so there will be another Pavel Quiz posted soon!
I have some ski material sent to me from various ski companies,,,,,they are yours if you get best score on this quiz.

Remember rules.
1. 10 questions. Each with correct answer.
2. Minimal criterion score will be 8/10
3. First to send correct answers via PM and to get above this level
4. All forms of "research" are accepted from Google search, to "expert" sources, to consulting Dave!
5. One week duration
6. Answers to be given via PM
7. Duration and end of quiz will be based on London time.
8. Questions will deal in; skiing history, technical matters, physics of skiing, skiing geography, skiing customs world-wide
9. Dave (site guru) will be holder of answers in case of "legal disputes" and timing of answers sent.
10.Questions will deal with; divergent thinking, skiing experience,general skiing knowledge, resort information and yes "creative thinking"!

So prepare yourself. Sharpen your knowledge of Bloom's Taxonomy and the full search potential of Google!

People, people ... this is a Pavel Quiz which requires careful and cognitive thinking and knowledge, with answers utilizing best resources offered without use of the shotgun method of answering.
I've tried this method before ..... :oops:

Look at it this way ..... depression, due to end of skiing season time of year, is being replaced by sleepless nights :!: Ya just got to love spring :mrgreen:

I know that this quiz will help prepare us for next winter. :D
