Morillon for Children ?? advice wanted

I am thinking about going to Morillon next Feb with my wife never ski ed before, my daughter 8 who can ski red runs and my 4 year old boy who wants to ski. I'm looking at booking everything myself since a friend has a place in Morillon just wondered if there is any childcare / ski school for my 4 year old and adult ski school bookable from Morillon. I don't really want to travel to far for the ski school or childcare. Any advice / experience or web links appreciated.

Hi Craig welcome to J2ski, my daughter skied under instruction in the snow garden at Morillon some five years ago, the only down side is it is a bit of a down hill walk from the Gondola to the snow garden, but the standard of tuition was first class. This was Little W's first experience of skiing at three years old, She has since come on leaps and bounds over the last five years and is developing her skills year on year under the guidance of the ESF, I found Morillon a first class resort with plenty of varied skiing which was helped by having fresh powder every day. 8)

Thanks for your reply, i wasn't sure if the lessons were available in Morlillon or Flaine, you've helped.

Hi Craig,

We;ve just returned from a great's weeks skiing in Morillon. Our 5 yr old was booked into the ESF ski school at Morillon 1100 and we found them excellent. All of the kids in the group were English speaking, as of course was the instructor, and it was a very pleasant surprise that we didn't have to drag him out of bed in the morning to go to his lesson!

We've also had private lessons ourselves and most confess we found the instructors in Morillon one of the most friendliest we have come across, so we've highly recommend them for adults and kids alike. They also take online bookings from memory - www.esfmorillon.com

We have also used the childcare facilities at Village des enfants and again found them great, our 3 yr old spent a day ot two there in the creche and didn't grumble about having to go in there.

Thanks for the info, i have now booked Morillon 1100 for next Feb half term so hopefully i have made the right choice.
