All sports stars have to be so careful when using what we would consider every day OTC medicines for colds and flu etc. Something like a vicks inhaler has changed its active ingredients so many times, just the same as Beechams cold remedys. You really have to study the active ingredients every time you buy and use so as to avoid prohibited drugs. Pseudoephedrine being the main culprit. IMO the only thing Pseudoephedrine does is clears your sinuses, keep you awake for longer, makes you very jittery, talk faster, and makes your legs restlessat night. In sports studies tennis players who took it could not keep the ball on court they overshot the majority of their shots.
I feel sorry for sports stars who inadvertantly take these banned drugs.
