It was very kindly pointed out to me that I was approaching my 1000th post and it shouldn't be wasted. So, here goes…

Do you have an "allowed" list?

In a feeble attempt to make this thread ski related we'll say it's a list of five people you're allowed to share an evening alone with in a romantic ski chalet :P. Mine is:-

Johnny Depp
Josh Hartnett
Christian Bale
Orlando Bloom
Damon Albarn (don't ask!)

Mr a's list includes Scarlett Johansson, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Alba. I think our marriage is pretty safe :mrgreen:

To keep the discussion more topical how about listing where the really hot ski instructors are. My friends fell in love with JP (Jean Pierre in Tignes) but personally Henry (ESF - St Francoise Longchamp) beat him hands down.

I noticed a gorgeous lady, around 30, sitting in Bar Raccoon in Villeneuve last week. Very pretty indeed. I caught her and smiled, slightly embarrassed, as I dont do that kind of stuff anymore!

2 days later I was at the bottom of a piste on the mountain above Villeneuve, and she shuffled past me dressed in the red ski instructors uniform with a small child on a private lesson, and smiled as she nodded "Bonjour monsieur".

She was, of course, not a patch on Mrs H, but was still one of the most beautiful instructors I have ever seen.

I'm obviously going to the wrong places - just about every instructor I met in Sauze was old enough to be my granddad :(

Rose because she only got 1 holiday this year

Knowing you, you will spend the day before studying a piste map and planning a route to take us on. If you would prefer not to come, of course, I can invite oneof the other party members to do the guiding, but I am concerned we would end up doing the same small hill 10,000 times.....

we also need bandit and aj adele for no reason other than we need them there :D
and admin and ise for details (bandit could also fall into this category)

I'm not that great at cooking for large numbers so I think I can safely hand that over to tony 8)

Well lets face it, we are all ski addicts here and have all at some point commented on how we spend too much time on j2ski than we should.

My oh is a musician, sound engineer and computer geek so most of the time when I'm on here is when he is working. Believe it or not we do spend lot's of time together and do enjoy each others company.

Ian's right though...I certainly wouldn't be able to have a conversation with Thierry, I know very little about football and don't speak very much french! :lol:
