Ski film music!!

Sitting having a few sunday afternoon drinks and listening to some music. Just taking a trip down memory lane and Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden has entered my altered consciousness.

Seem to remember it was in one of the Glen Plake/Scott Schmidt movies. Anyone remember it? Or any other awesome ski music?

Just checked mine out. Never knew this before but it was................ Hoots Mon, theres a moose loose aboot this hoose!!!

That's so good I just got it on iTunes :D

I'm not a fan of the latter Warren Miller movies, they got a bit stale for me. That said, I do wonder how much things have moved from Blizzard of Aaahs really, arguably the first and still the best ski movie, just perfectly capturing the mood of the times and the place (mostly Chamonix).

The number 1 single in the uk the day i was born was Charles Aznavour - "She"
I have never even hear of it lol.

Has anyone?

In the billboard chart it was Rock the Boat and i have heard of that. lol

I LOVE She by Charles Aznavour. i think it's played at the end of Notting Hill (correct me if I'm wrong someone) so it's a film song..just not a ski one..

Mine was Little Red Rooster..Rolling Stones..not one of my faves...tho I like chickens and the Stones....!

it is indeed a beautiful song. not sure about Notting Hill but I think it was used at the end of a movie called "She" which totally freaked me out when I watched it as a kid :shock:. you know, one of those lasting memories which come back into the forefront of your mind occasionally...

Apparently 'Relax' by Frankie Goes To Hollywood was No 1 on the day I was born.

Something I would quite like to do now, after 3 hours in a lab with first year chemists asking me 'Is this the right colour...?' :roll:

I was also asked if someone could change one of their sessions as it clashed with their planned ski trip - very jealous, :evil: though sadly couldn't help. I wonder which one they're likely to cancel.... (lucky so and so!!) :(

oh god I remember and hated "relax" :lol:

For me it would be anything Rockin..stone temple,sound garden & Chris Cornell,ac/dc,aerosmith,Zeppelin,...the list could go on and on ...

OMG! I love Black hole sun! I saw Chris Cornell(from soundgarden) live in concert in November...he did that song amazing!!! so good!
