Why haven't we got a similar thing going on.. how easy would it be to put one together? Would it work out?

Seems like such a good idea but would probably lack any sort of traffic.

Telemark Pyrennes are pretty good, with you all being in the EU it's a breeze. Their recent emails have some good deals.

Isn't this all for the little people (**) though? :lol: haven't you got some pro' deals?

Not much that isn't Canadian which is a pain in the ar*e due to my want for a few bits and pieces of gear which I am in the process fo trying to get off the BASI deal but the person doing it isn't so keen any more.

Pabs suggest keeping an eye on Sport Conrad, as in addition to their sale, they also unload their Test Range each spring.
All sorts of gear, sold as used, really cheap. I last purchased some BD Touring Poles from them, little more than half price, with the price tag still attached.

trencher... a question...

on your pic you seem to be very far over how come gravity doesnt take over and you end up falling, i have a mental block doing that my knees dont seem to want to bend fear of hurting myself

Tramdock, sometimes, is a better deal than pro rates. The problem is: it's addictive, and you can end up with a ton of gear. :)

He doesn't fall because his centrifugal force is greater than gravitational force. You just have to learn to trust. ;) Of course, you need a ski with good edge grip and stability. Then all you have to do is get comfortable with the speed. It really helps to be able to ski a lot. I'm lucky enough to live within a few miles of a local hill, and I think Trencher is in a similar situation.

Nothing that complicated really. I just use the photo editor on the computer. You know, internet skier and all :wink:

Okay Pabs Sport Conrad are now showing "tested kit" in their specials box. For example they have Coombas in 3 sizes, fitted with Fritschi's for 480 Euros.

Found it, found it. Man I will need to give this some serious consideration.. I have been looking for some cheap bindings but I could never say no to another pair of skis :lol:

Edit 12: I think I have managed to convince myself I don't need them-at least this season. I will hold out I reckon.

Yeh, I have made more foolish impulse buys than skis but the wallet stayed in the back pocket. I signed up to the emails so hopefully I get some good deals in the mail! I figured another pair of skis couldn't hurt this season 8)
