Mother in law Winter Olympics

There is some serious chat tonight, with proper questions and proper answers, so -
What Winter Olympic sports, real or imaginary, would you like your huband/wife/boss/mother in law/neighbour etc, to participate in ?
All for my mother in law - 1) Luge - a definite medal chance - but I have a vision of her doing her Superwoman act with her industrial quality corset outside the lycra suit - but with her weight and that gravity she would certainly get to the bottom before the Germans and Russians : 2) Zimmer frame ski jumping : 3) Biathlon - the target : 4) My favourite - avalanche racing
Mines not so bad really just tries to be controlling. She got used to running my Husbands and his sisters lifes but did'nt take to kindly to Hubby marrying an older woman and sister marrying an older man. Me and brorher in law dig our heels in a bit. She seems to forget we have parents and children that occasionally we would like to spend time with.

Re:Mother in law Winter Olympics

My step sister is a tattoo artist (or so she calls herself.) Some of the designs are very clever and would look great on a wall, but seeing them etched into her leg and back just makes me cringe.

I'm sure she's going to run out of space to doodle on soon and will seriously regret it in later life!!!
It's such a shame as she used to be very pretty (think slim 6ft blonde) but has totally ruined her body with this and numerous piercings.

Still, each to his (or her) own I suppose.

Mine is never on view to the public. It started as a rosebud, but over the years it has grown to a fully opened rose  Dont regret it at all. Would really like a celtic upper arem band. I do not like hubbys tatoo, much to big, covers the whole upper arm and all around it. Its a work of art, but its pinhead from hellraiser.

I really do like some tattoos but I could never do it to myself as I have a very addictive personality in which case it's better not to start and then you don't have to worry about when to stop

Re:Mother in law Winter Olympics

Back to the mother in law thread, I'm lucky that mine is lovely and we get on really well. She also bought ski boots for both myself and OH as a present, so that made her go up in my estimations even further!!! :D

On the skiing front, I feel quite bad for her as in her younger years, both herself and my husband wanted to learn to ski, but never got the chance as the rest of the family wouldn't go. Sadly, she now has bad arthritis and it would be way too much of a risk for her to try. Still, we may persuade them on a winter holiday one of these days, even if just to enjoy the scenery. :D

Its the society rules as well as my employer. Pharmacists and dispensers, no piercings, no visable tats, no nail polish on hands, no bare legs, jewellery must be minimal. Any-thing that will bring the society into disrepute. If I was made bankrupt, done for drink driving, or any criminal offence I would be struck off.
