To all you tobogganers out there!!!

I need some advice on tobogganing.
We have been to Grindelwald, Switzerland for the last 3 years and it's great. Perfect for non-skiers. We walk on cleared paths, we swim and skate at the sports centre, we've had a go at curling but mostly we've tobogganed. There is a load of choice and the top of all the runs are easily accessed by cable car or mountain railway. So no hiking uphill with a sledge to the top!!! As much as we like it there we would like to go somewhere else next time. There is a lot of mountain out there after all! But where might be on a par or at least similar? Any suggestions would be gratefully received. If I was going to be really picky I would say a German speaking area but heh, can't have everything. Look forward to some suggestions.
Thanks
AndyB

My suggestion would be Seefeld/Austria great place for all those extra snow activities. Check out there website lots of info there. Been 5 times, absolutely love it. Also Austria's biggest area for cleared walks.

Hi Rose
Thanks for the suggestion. Can I ask about the tobogganing in Seefeld. Are the runs easy to access or are they a hike up a hill. I know one of the runs in Grindelwald was a 2 1/2 hr walk from the cable car station! Takes the fun our of it somewhat so we always avoided that one!
AndyB

Re:To all you tobogganers out there!!!

Hi Access at the Rochutte is by funicular, otherwise runs all over the place, by side of nursery slopes, and by side of Gwastankoff. As Seefeld is made up of 5 villages its a lovely walk to next village with runs in each of them, except Leutasch that would be a bus ride. All really accessable.

Thanks for the link. Ruka does look great. Have been looking at Seefeld as well since Rose's suggestion. I also found some info about Val Gardena in the Italian Dolomites which looked quite good. Any thoughts?
Andrea
