Okay i am sat here watching bobsleigh on eurosport, why must they wear lycra, i have just watched 4 very large polish guys in very tight PINK lycra wobble all there bits running down an ice hill and the camerman seems to have a thing for close up on bums?

Funny thing...

We were talking to a guy on the lift about his son's racing. Appearantly the lycra speed suits have become a "badge of honour" of sorts. We decided that badge or not, it wouldn't do any good for the mature ski team to wear such attire. Talk about beer bellies on wannabe racers on display. :shock: The discussion gave us a good laugh as I think we were picturing ourselves :cry: :roll:
I shudder ... not just from the thought of the cold experienced when wearing such a suit.

Amanda,It is just before 1pm now. Im home today, we had a flood in our house last night...drain was backing up....so just waiting for the septic system people to get here and fix it. ....would much rather be skiing today on this gorgeous sunny day..instead of digging through ice and snow looking for the septic cleanout! :cry:

I heard about your crazy weather,saw it on the news. Hope you all are ok over there,not great when people are not used to driving in it...unlike all you skiers..you all can handle it..its the other people .
Vancouver is like the uk when it snows...kind of falls apart...no one has winter tires.
Here where I live now..we basically have snow on the ground from November till March. I even have studded borium on my horses shoes so I can ride in the snow ha ha ha ...but it is a dry snow...and usually sunny.
..but enough about me,I think we should get back to the boys in Lycra ..thats more interesting lol! :lol:

I was struggling posting pictures when I was using " Panoramio " for my photos, today I signd up with photobucket worked first time. Even has a link you can copy to paste to J2ski. Try it, it is really mug proof, well I got it to work :mrgreen:

Photobuckets fine and easy, but I tend to still get my pics to large. Try Tiny PIC, that seem okay and easier to adjust the pic size.

The IMG code - but just tried it again and it lets me copy and paste now! Had a Windows update since it didn't work on Friday which may have fixed it. Or might have been a problem with Photobucket which they've fixed.

For those of you who need another hit of Men in Lycra. BBC1 at 2235 (10.35pm for civilians) is Bobsleigh Challenge

Decathlete Dean Macey, sprinter Jason Gardener, rugby union World Cup-winner Dan Luger and cyclist Craig MacLean try to enter the British Bobsleigh Championships in the Italian Alps on the back of just 10 days of training.

I'll be watching because it's always fun to watch bonkers people trying bonkers stunts, NOT because it's got men in lycra. I'm a fully fledged heterosexual male and what they wear is an irrelevance. Just thought I'd clear that one up before you begin to think otherwise. :wink:
