April a last blast, Where to go ???

right 31 days till Niederau and 301 days till Schladming :D

not that i am counting, so does anyone have any ideas where to go for one last blast in April hopefully around 4th or 11th, before the ski's go in the loft for a while Or if anyone can get a week off ski buddies would be good, most places seem to be closing end of march, and what is the 'square deal' that has been listed on some of the other threads.

if any one says Chile in summer i have already priced it up and i havent got a spare GBP2495.00 in back pocket

would love to but my friends dont ski and sounds a bit daft but a bit far on my own the ski schools only run for a couple of hours in the morning so it is a huge expanse to ski alone.

next idea???

Switzerland, most resorts will only shut the week after Easter, unless they are really low lying. Flights to GVA, train/postbus to most places.

Go high up. Zermatt, Verbier, Val Thorens, Alpe d'Huez, etc.

From a totally biased opinion ,Les Arcs.the last skiable day is 25th april ,and if you go for the last week lift passes are half price ,if brought daily they are still half price and the 25th should be free...

Val D'isere shuts at close of play on 6th May ,any where in the Tarentaise will be a safe bet ,also there is Canada which may be worth a look....
