Heading to Passo Tonale

I am going to Passo Tonale in Italy on the 31st of this month, has anyone else been there this season, is it true what I hear that the snow is really good there now...the snow reports seem to say so though Im not sure how accurate they are. Its only my third year Skiing so Im not fussy about location, just the sport and the Apres Ski,
So any of you guys able to recommend some good bars in the Passo, I am really looking forward to it...my other question is, can someone advise me on the ammount of Base layers I need considering the warmest it seems to get there is still below zero?!

Thanks
K

Re:Heading to Passo Tonale

Hi, I'm just back from Tonale, the snow is as good as reported. We really enjoyed it and our group ranged from beginners to advanced. The Apres ski isn't great there is one disco bar (Heaven), you'll hear it before you see it! other than that we spent most time in El Bait or Magic bar. Nightlife was better at weekends when it got busier but it was early in the season when we were there.

The average temperature was -4 during the days but if there is no wind and the sun is shining it is okay, most of us only wore 1 base layer but you will need a balaclava or something to cover your face if the snows or it is windy but some of the lifts have full covers on them.

Enjoy.

P
