Picture post test!

I have a Mac G5 and was trying to post and a "special" thank you from a person that gave me the very best Christmas gift I got from Santa!

I stopped believing in Santa some years ago,,,but now I am a "true" believer in the goodness of skiers,kindness in some J2ski followers and of course Santa!

My Christmas was special this year!

I will find a way to post more pictures once my computer people find a way to do so!

The best person for picture issues is Dave (from this site)! He does wonders.

Now if he could "inplant" cams on our foreheads while we ski,,,,,,

But that is for 2010 site!!!

Yes!

He is trying to "seduce me" into cancelling my trip to Utah in order to take a visit to Auhof!
I am a little afraid to ski with him since I can not yet hold myself up with poles!

And those tracks he makes,,,,,,

I will have to practice more!

Pavel. I did cancel a trip to Utah and go to Niederau! Only because our friends could not make Utah this year. Maybe next year!

And I can tell you that the original wearer of that Jacket can ski fast.

And if you do ever go to the Auhof ......wow, what could we do?

Why is it that when I read these messages, the idea of a J2ski get together in Neiderau (or somewhere else) springs to mind?

Perhaps we should consider nominating an appropriate date in 2010 and then as many of us as possible could get together there?

Hopefully, Pavel could make it over to show off his new gift ... but, on the other hand, if Pavel did arrive, when would we get time to ski instead of endlessly pumping him for more and more stories of ski trips past :mrgreen:

I suspect the bars could end up staying open late that week :lol:

The Extreme Cam is a digital video camera that enables the user to capture video clips of their sports activities, including skiing, snowboarding, cycling, mountain biking and any other active sport.

After capturing footage, you can replay the video clips on a television, or edit the movie on computer and share the video clips with friends through an internet connection. You can also save the footage back to the console for transport.

The ATC-2K is a video camera only, it is not possible to take still photos.

The ATC2000 will record varying amounts of footage, depending upon the memory card size and quality of video. For example, at 30 frames per second at 640x480, the camera will record 60 minutes of footage to the card. If however you reduce the quality of the recording and use 15 frames per second, it is possible to record up to 794 minutes of footage.

Please note that the ATC-2000 requires a high speed branded Secure Digital card for external storage.

It comes with a set of leads for plugging directly into a TV to 'preview' the stuff. Otherwise you upload it to your PC after the holiday when you're stuck in work & dreaming of zooming down crispy mountains :)

A J2ski get together somewhere in the snow....great idea. Does it have to be in Niederau though....the place would be rammed if more than 10 of us turned up..... )

I fear that I already have one re-union next year in Niederau, don't know when, all the old UK instructors, lift men, ski bums from the 60s and 70s. We held one in 2000, and it was quite surprising that most of us were still in some kind of shape. Could be fewer of us next year.

But wherever J2ski is, we would try to make it. We couldn't of course afford to go to France. :wink:

I have thought of surprising someone since I do travel to some "hot spots" just south!

I never say no!

As far as all that work, mentionned in the last post, I have all that since in my work,I must video tape many events and objects! I have learned to edit all and produce DVDs of quality!

I am now doing it for my pleasure. I have made a camera "pouch" from an old ski patrol chest unit for phones! Also I have taken my old knee brace apart and have installed a camera screw just above the knee! Great low shots! Got idea from viewing Ellistine's videos.

If you are with Jan,,ask him to show you the DVDs! You might enjoy looking back!

Wanderer is right, a J2ski type of ski holiday/piss up sounds great for next year. Imagine if the likes of Pavel and Jan really couldnt ski at all!! :mrgreen: Is RossF really funny?? :?: Does Tony talk as much as he writes?? and just think of what we could find out about the real people on this site!!

RossF...If i was a Munster fan I would never ski cos I'd be too busy getting married to my sister and bandwagon jumping like the rest of the red necks! :twisted:
And yes I will be in Twickenham to watch Leinster beat Wasps tomorrow. :P
