Hi all,

Anyone been Saas Fee this year who can let me know how much money i'll be investing in beer??

Hi Steve,

I returned from Saas last weekend after an awsome week. Like anywhere the prices vary wherever you go around the village - small bottles around the slopes range from 4.50 CHF up to 6.50 CHF. When you head into town the popular places are charging anywhere from 8 CHF up to 12 CHF for a pint - All in all the resort is quite expensive. As I recall up on the slopes the food is v. expensive - Bowl of chips at the middle station (top of alpine express cable car) cost about 13 CHF whereas down by the nursery slopes the place with the red bull umbrellas right on the slope charge about 6.50 CHF for the same.

CHF12 is outrageous though! Not suprising that Europeans don't have a drink culture!
