Subway tends to do good things for me when my head feels like it's been put through a blender. Lots of water is an obvious one. Pretty much every bit of food I can get my hands on, actually, and a good dose of fresh air.

I woke up today to find my parents out for a walk and I was tasked with doing a roast, ready for them on their return. Not fair, I say... Then again, I did emerge from bed at about 1 in the afternoon.

Just before collapsing in bed, take 3 Nurofen Express tablets with a large glass of water.

You sleep all night and the tablets are still kicking in when you wake up - usually because you've only have 4 hours kip.

I'm sure that a small overdose is safe enough - just don't get carried away.

PS - this also help with the aches and pains in the legs after a full day on the slopes !!!!!!

The funny thing is that when you dont drink much, you wake up feeling like sheeeiiitte, and when you go mad and down about 15 pints, you can wake up as if nothing happened the night before.

Its the same as those nights you plan for ages always turn out to be rubbish, and the "quick pint at tea time on a Friday" turns out to be epic.

Doesnt it Skidaddle????

Re:Hangover cures

I don't know, finding a pretty good balance is important I reckon. I make a point of keeping under 70 kg, life is too short for all those things but if you throw a couple of them in you might spend a little more time living 8)

Re:Hangover cures

I'm with Pablo. It's all about balance. I take great care during the week but don't think twice on weekends, holidays or when there's a reason/occasion. That way I never feel deprived and I'm the weight I'm happy at :D

Re:Hangover cures

I stopped drinking in the week as a new years resolution; me and hubby were getting in to a bad habit of having wine with dinner and finishing the bottle, more at weeekends, which added up to a lot of units. I don't miss it at all, in fact I now look forward to my wine at the weekend (all 8 bottles of it).
