Passo Stelvio, the only one of the summer ski areas that closed due to the impact of the heat last month to have reopened, was one of those showing a fresh white coat on its web cams this week. <br /> <br /> <img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/j2ski/albums/u44159/20260911/Italy_Passo_Stelvio_10_September" border="0" class="mpimg" /> <br /> <br /> Across the Atlantic fresh snowfall was also reported at Canada's Marmot Basin (pictured top) whilst in the southern hemisphere ski areas in New Zealand reported spring snowfalls of up to 20cm.
