New year suggestions

Looking for suggestions for new year. Would prefer somewhere less crowded (appreciate most places are over busy over new year). 14 of us going . Age ranges from 6 to 50 . Begginners to advanced skiers. Would like to be able to go dog sledding, snow mobiling. Have been to Levi and Iceland but thinking somewhere less expensive this time. Any recommendations of a chalet big enough for us all much appreciated .

Have you looked at any of the other Scandinavian resorts, such as Hemsedal, Trysil, Are? They may fit the bill. Needn't be expensive, either IF you can self-cater.

That kind of makes sense, given the accommodation I've seen in Are. Trysil seems to have some big chalets/apartments.
