Soll ski hire

Going to soll in a couple of weeks and looking to book skis at Edinger sport as they are at the gondola and easy for storage . Looking at the prices though they do seem a lot dearer than other shops. Has anyone else hired from another shop and used ski lockers if there are any near the gondola. Cheers..

Re:Soll ski hire

I used this store last year and initially thought the same as yourself but as it was right by the lift station decided to bite the bullet and I have to say the service and choice of skis was spot on but the real clincher was the heated boot storage which was first class. The boots went on like a hand in a glove in the mornings due to the warm circulating air which surrounds the boot racks quite simply the best boot storage I've come across

You could book through skiset on web usually cheaper than just going to shop try snow and fun which is next door to salvenstadl pub. You can store skis and boots at edinger shop at bottom of gondola for 12 euros for 6 days. Highly recommended. If you want even cheaper there is a hire shop opposite the top of the gondola station that do good deals and will store skis and boots. Only issue is it means you cant ski the home run as you need to get gondola down

Thanks for the replies. As youve mentioned its probably worth the extra for the conveniance and not having to walk back to the hotel with them..

Re:Soll ski hire

Been to Soll 5 times now and always do Snow & Fun in town. Skiset with a voucher code will probably be cheaper than anywhere else. We always store at the Garage for 9 euros a week so no walking back in boots. If you do garage option you can do home run - we always ski down the home run (red or blue), ski right up to the door and then change into normal boots for the walk back...

6 day costs with skiset/Snow & Fun are currently:
39 euros without boots
65 with boots
with code snow17

Hope this helps....
