Is it just me.......?

Hi all.

Has anyone else become excited like a 7 year old at Christmas and is constantly checking weather, looking at bar reviews and the best slopes to tackle for their forthcoming ski trip? I'm only wondering if there were any others out there like me!!!!

I've got even worse - I've started reading a load of ski related "fiction" - all variations on the "my year as a chalet host and all the crazy stuff it entailed". Mostly badly written but more vicarious thrills!

Yep, same here. I even look at webcams of resorts I'm not thinking of skiing in !

As they say in Liverpool, "Carm down, carm down!"

Last season, I had my usual 2 weeks in Austria, January, followed by a week in France, February.
Two weeks in Vail Colorado, March.
A week in Austria, April.

This season, have my usual Austrian January, plus a February week in the Dolomites, Italy. I will have to work hard with Frau Mac to get a March week....

Absolutely and totally obsessed.Only been skiing 10 years and I'm 55 but as a life long fitness fanatic took to it instantly and now watch every world cup event on telly as well as skiing 4 times a season and I'm off to Ischgl for Xmas. Bring it on.

I'm all booked up. Loving the pre season vibe in tigne. Feel part of the build up. In the marmot now with my 5th hoegarden and enjoyo. Got la thuile with bald eagleman in Jan and leogang with the lads on 4th march. Banging season so far.
