Group of 10 mixed ability skiers any ideas where best to go and cheap

A group of us are wanting to book a skiing trip away next year, we are a mixed group for ability, we want something which will fit everyone, with plenty of apres ski too. We would like to keep the budget as low as possible, I know I'm not going to please everyone, but the majority would be great.
I'm looking for a catered chalet preferably.

Thanks in advance

When do you plan to go?
This makes a big difference to both price and snow reliability.
With a mixed group you probably want a resort where the accommodation is close to the main lifts and the easier lifts/pistes.
Any country preference?
Are any of the group that good that they will want access to a really wide variety of terrain to ski with plenty of challenges?

Thanks for the reply, I'm thinking france for location and I would say that as long as there is a half decent variety of slopes that would be fine, im guessing that location would depend on when we go.

Re:Group of 10 mixed ability skiers any ideas where best to go and cheap

If I were choosing I would go early March. After the main school holiday period is over.
At this time of year things are warming up a bit and there will be a good snow base.
I would look at a second stream french resort as with your group the biggest won't be needed ( 3Valleys, Espace Killy, etc - very expensive relatively unless you can get the most out of the place). So.....
Serre Chevalier could be good.
Alpes D'Huez
Les Deuz Alpes - to name only three.
There are loads of smaller really lovely resorts.

I would second early March on account of the weather being better than the other time I would go which would be mid-late January. Avoid the mega-resorts to reduce costs. Les Deux Alpes is good for a mixed group, but bit of a marmite resort. We loved Risoul - not many black runs but plenty of hooning around on reds to be done. Risoul would be good for beginners. Don't know if there are any catered chalets there, though.
