Hi there, having difficulty with the geography of Livigno and where the main gondola or lift is located ? because in turn I want to book an apartment close. :?:

First of all let me say that it has been a long time since I skied Livigno; that said the geography won't have changed, but maybe transport has.

The biggest lift is probably the carosello 3000, but that's in San Rocco which is a fair way out of the 'centre' such as it is. If it were me I would look for somewhere in and around the costaccia. From here you can get across to the S Rocco area at altitude, and you're only a couple of minutes by bus away from the mottelino area. During day time I seem to remember the buses being pretty frequent and not too crowded. Whilst Livigno wasn't 'party central ' when I went, the focus of the apres and night life was in the centre - whilst SRocco was very quiet, with the exception of the bar at the lift base, and night buses didn't exist. Perhaps someone with more up-to-date experience can add to this. :)

If you look at a map of the town, near the group of lifts at the lake end of the resort.

Great bus system around the resort so getting about not a real issue. Been a couple of times and like the San Rocco area for night life https://www.livigno.eu/en/ski-bus
