Your choice of UK airports? I normally fly Friday morning and fly back on a Sunday night.

Re:Long Weekend

Would you get say Friday and or Monday off. If not its a long way for a day mabe day and a half skiing. However if you can get a least one extra day you could go to Turin and then on to Sauze it's good roads motorway so shortish transfers . You should be able to get accommodating for a couple of days.

Re:Long Weekend

Easyjet offer Thursday and Friday MAN~MUN flights, and MUN~MAN returns on Sunday and Monday.

Fri~Mon GBP152. Thurs~Sunday, GBP130. Plus baggage.

So you can choose a train or car hire into Kitzbuhleralpen, Kitz, Soell,Scheffau. Many other choices. Join me in the Wildschonau.

For a short time, I generally use the train from Munich Airport.

A good shout is travel out Thursday. Arrive early evening. Ski Friday, Saturday, Sunday until about 3.00pm.
Train to Munich, Sunday evening flight at 9.35pm. The Easyjet check-in is right beside the station.

B&B around Euro30/35 per night.

Re:Long Weekend

Or, if you live anywhere near London, Ebbs Fleet or Ashford so that you can get the Eurostar, you could get a night sleeper train from Paris to somewhere with a ski resort, and do the same on the way back.

Fly to Geneva-short transfer to Chamonix (france) or if Italy try Turin, 2 hours to Champoluc/Gressoney/Aosta valley. Good luck.

You can jump a train in Munich Airport, change at Munich Ost. Then go to Kufstein bahnhof which gives access to the Skiwelt, (Soell, Ellmau, Sceffau, etc), by taxi or bus. You can also go to Woergl, then get a taxi/bus to Niederau. You can also carry on further down the Inn Valley to other places.

Re:Long Weekend

Better off grabbing a Turin flight and heading either to your preferred sauze, or try bardonecchia nearby, up to the aosta valley where champoluc is fabulous and amazing snow right now, or courmayeur would be great for a short break.
