Did they really ski like that, or is it a trick video?
The part underground surprised me the most!
If it was real, it looked extremely dangerous! :shock:

A short clip of this was shown on Ski Sunday last night.
Great to see a bit more of it.
The grass skiing surprised me the most!

I'd say it was all real Ally. The guy is a pro skier and it was all filmed in his home town, so although some of it had probably been staged (like the last 20 seconds) I reckon he did it all himself! :-)

That was one of the reasons i posted it Dids. I was watching Ski Sunday and thought i'm sure that was footage of a video i watched a couple of weeks ago!

Last Easter in La Clusaz we watched M.Thovex and some of his mates making another movie - also posted on here :- Blue Skies and Aerobatics.

...it is most certainly :shock: when you see how fast and high the jumps and back-flips are.

So it's genuine? And did they really film it all in one go, without cheating? That's incredible!

Presumably they let the lift guys etc. know they were coming ...

It has to be well edited, but it wouldn't do his cred any good if it wasn't genuine.
I love the last bit the best.
Very clever.

I was wondering if maybe he'd done several runs, and they'd stitched the best efforts together.
It is rather like something out of a James Bond movie!
It's most impressive, and very entertaining to watch! :)

You can see where he lands the jump from the top of the chair, there's a track from an earlier run.

Love the roll before the rail ride at the end; and having had many an end-of-the-day coffee/beer on that balcony (undisturbed by airborne skiers!), that's not a small gap/drop he's jumping before turning switch to slide into the gondola!
