Enjoyed reading the story so far. I envy you. It's our dream when daughter goes off to Uni in 4 years time to spend whole seasons in the mountains. Haven't worked out the details yet - might buy a tiny apartment somewhere, or maybe rent a place, depends on cost. Hope your knee is ok.

Work the season then that way you get to spend the season in the mountains for free.

We worked for Silverski in La Plagne as chalet hosts we had to work but it was great fun we skied 6 days a week for a minimum of 6 hours per day. We actually managed to come home with more money than we went with. Although we did all activities on offer bobsleigh etc, went out for meals and partied when we liked. All in all a great season which Was very social and great fun

Thank you both. Yes we are gearing up for a whole season at some point definitely. This has been a good "taster" and proves how much we love the mountains.

Hopefully the blog is useful as well as entertaining.
