Please help!!

Over the recent weeks I have developed a condition. Due to the lack of snow in the Alps I have seem to have developed a bad case of weather forecast and web cam addictionitis.

The battery on my phone is constantly dead and I know the weather conditions off by heart. It is getting so bad now I am taking screen shots and sending them to friends.

Is it contagious? I don't want them catching this condition

Any advice? :cry:

The bad news, Icy, is that there's no way back. Never again will your non-skiing friends either a) understand you or b) talk about anything of interest to you...

But the good news is that you are not alone! And all will be rewarded... keep watching the forecasts... weekly update out shortly... :wink: 8)

Adders, I keep refreshing my emails waiting for the news. I know which forecasts to avoid as they are but reporting snow.

Problem is, if, the webcams go white I just know I will keep checking to make sure they stay that way!!

This is the reason I usually go 2 week in jan rather than this years first week of feb ;)

Other websites are reporting light snow on thur, fri sun and Monday. Yours doesn't adders. What are you doing :'(

Looking at webcams and snow reports is pointless unless you are doing it close to the time of your holidays. What is happening now is very unlikely to have relevance to what will be happening in a month time. Just chillax, you are going on holidays in the mountains, end of. Look at webcams a week or maybe two before, check the forecast for the week you will be there and don't stress now needlessly. Challenging but skiable conditions at the moment, but who knows what it will be like in a month time???

I check webcams in the summer too, usually out of boredom.

The symptoms have worn off a bit. I am still getting the odd urge but it is not every ten minutes

I am keeping a close eye on weather forecasts instead
