Spring has sprung!

Looking at the webcams from La Thuile and La Rosiere this morning - plus the temperatures forecast over the next three days - it looks more like April than December! What little snow there is will struggle to last given temps around 10-12 degrees this week. Time for that north wind to blow!

Re:Spring has sprung!

Yup, rain last week and generally warm days made it very spring-like. Grass looks very fresh and green. Foehn is blowing currently. Another cold spell is expected soon but it might be another high-pressure system, snow is needed. Quite a lot fell last week but it was followed by rain all the way up to 2700 meters so conditions are challenging. And until it snows they will persist.
