Which resort.????

I am looking to go on a solo, ski holiday to Europe..I have cerebral, palsy and ski with adaptive riggers.
I am an early intermediate & need a resort where my accommodation will be very close to a lift.
Plus one where drag lifts can be avoided.
I generally ski in the US & this is just an opportunity to get some extra miles in, hence going on my own
I have thought about Austria , possibly Mayrhofen or Italy, Cervinia, or Courmayeur perhaps.
The other thing is the possibility of getting a guide for the first day, so I can get some idea of the mountain.
Does anyone have any suggestions , it all seems a bit daunting trying to make the right decision, so some other opinions would be really helpful.
Thanks

Re:Which resort.????

AC, if you contact Disability Snowsport, they will provide you with information and options. DS do cover your disability. I ski with the DS group each year, mainly because they appear in Niederau for two January weeks, and my January time encompasses that. The guides are mostly Basi approved with Adaptive qualifications.

They base at Hotel Sonschein, and run a minibus to the lift. The lift men are trained to assist DS skiers. The main lift is a gondola, although there are draglifts on the mountain, you can ski using the gondola and chairlift.

DS are supported by Crystals, and there are many volunteers, both Crystal, and non-Crystal.

DS do organise about half a dozen venues, including America.

However, if you choose Niederau, we can get a few runs in!
Saw those DS people when I was in Neiderau a few years ago. They are awesome. Even more awesome are the disabled skiers themselves.

Equally impressive, is to get to ski with blind skiers. They tend to be in Niederau about the same time, or the week later.
We saw some of the high end of this in the Winter Olympics with Jade, but there are some non-competitive recreational blind skiers come to Niederau.
As a trainer of Guide Dog puppies, this is of double interest to me.
