<description> No doubt there will be differing views but for me its Lech in Austria.   Have a look at Igluski's top 10 most picturesque ski resorts.  Of Lech it says:&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Undoubtedly one of the most stunning resorts to be seen ( and seen in!) in Europe is Lech. Just over the valley from its more rascal-like neighbour St Anton, Lech enjoys a more serene, sophisticated status, basking in the light of its stunning panoramic views. Access to the impressive Arlberg ski circus is at your doorstep!&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Also it also depends on your budget, and what &quot;festivities&quot; mean.....  Lech is a great place for a family Christmas but you can always nip round to St Anton for mad apre ski..  Lech (and the Arlberg in general) is pretty snow sure for later half of December.</description>

<description> Got to be Megeve. Lot of gentle skiing, tree-lined trails, postcard views of Mot Blanc range, pedestrian shopping area and even a horse-driven ski lift and taxis.  </description>
