Hi All

Can anyone suggest anywhere to go summer skiing for a long weekend and how to get there etc, I've looked at going to Hintertux as its only for a couple of days but cant seem to get flights that are reasonable from the UK.

Many Thanks
Steve

Re:Summer Skiing

Probably Tignes your best bet-got the height/lifts/etc. and not too far from Geneva. Be prepared to be on the lifts by 8 to 8.30am and probably finish by 1 to 2 pm latest. Staying in Tignes can be expensive, especially in the summer months, consider staying down the road a couple of miles in Tignes les Brevieres-B&B, hotels etc. half the price of Tignes itself. Good luck.

Re:Summer Skiing

Suggest hiring a car - public transport, even in resort, is far less available than in the winter.

Re:Summer Skiing

Don't know where you're flying from but EasyJet have got plenty of mid-week flights that'll come in around GBP100 return through most of August; don't think that's too bad?
