Two runs both scoring over 80 points for Katie, qualifying in a very solid 3rd place.
With a couple more tricks in her locker looking very promising going for a medal.

Wow, some gutsy young ladies in that session. Was she really trying a double front flip for the first time??? Should be a medal just for that!

Fingers crossed... time to grab a coffee and do a bit of work before the final...

Looks like Woodsy should be good (after his injury) for the Men's on Thursday too.

She went big, great run but caught out by the conditions. Got a great future.

Some great runs for the medals; fingers crossed that Yuki Tsubota's ok. Ah well, back to work then...

Hope the weather forecast for colder conditions coming in is correct. Problems at the half pipe with puddles sitting in the bottom. Snowboarders due to go later, could have a postponement.

No concussion for Yuki Tsubota, but she has a damaged jaw. The leg brace looks to have just been a precaution, no report of a leg injury. Could have been a lot worse.

Hideous snow at this olympics, conditions are costing top performers a medal. Whose stupid idea was to have them in Russia?

Nothing wrong with having it in Russia (ethical issues aside), just unlucky with the unusually warm weather. Same 4 years ago, Whistler right now is -5 with heavy snowfall, last Olympics it was 10c and raining.
