First visit for a while

Well, its been summer, and a pretty good one too, so hadn't really thought too much about skiing or coming on here.
However, since getting back from Skiathos last weekend, the weather has turned, like someone flicked a switch and put winter ON. Therefore ski plans have to be made, and I am starting to already get excited about a January trip which is in the final stages of planning right now. I am just waiting for confirmation from a few operators as to whats available from our choices.
Its going to either be Austria or Italy. Switzerland is simply too pricey, and France - despite some good deals to get you there - is way too expensive on and off the slopes. I would probably only go back to Serre Che if I was to do another week in France, possibly ADH as well.

Anyway, it wont be long before we are watching the webcams for snow.

Hope everyones had a good summer and lets pray for another epic winter season.

Hurrah! I've dipped in and out over the summer, its been a good one wether wise and I've been saying exactly the same thing about the weather, its just stopped being nice and started being autumnal. Lovely. Winter, here we come!

Welcome back Mr.H - hope you've had a most excellent one.

Evening all, or should I say "Good Autumn Everyone!".

Been a cracking summer for us - J2Ski Towers relocated to the Dorset coast just as the heat arrived - but we've had the marmottes hard at work writing code before they get tucked up for the winter.

So what with Tony reappearing, it's probably about time we rolled out some updates for the new season! The forum will look a little (!) different later this week... 8)

This sounds exciting .... It does definitely seem right and proper to not be planning ski trips when the sun is blazing down; a little bit like the football starting in August. It's just not right !

It's been an interesting 12 months for me. Recovering from injury to be ready to ski for the first time in three years & starting a new career 12 months ago. I've been studying, doing courses & on job training for all of those 12 months and won't be fully qualified until January 2014. Ideal timing, as my last course finishes a week before I head out to Austria to get my skis back on.

Yeay, another year. Once again we're like migrating birds starting to head back for the season. Of course there are clearly some resident species around as well.

Hey yall, it feels like winter is coming when all the hibernating J2 regs start waking up and popping on to the site.

Must admit, I weighed my self this morning and I have a lot of work to do.....not good.

I need to book something as an incentive to get fit and lose a few lbs.

I've been keeping fit properly for over a year now, the difference whilst skiing last season was notable in that I didnt ache afterwards. However, I have been not doing any work on my quads since April so thats going to be my focus for the next 3 months now on top of the usual stuff.

TP, dont get hung up on weight, its size thats more important, ie how you feel and look.

Its been hard to think about skiing when we've had such an amazing summer but with the drop in temp this last week beginning to make plans. Would really like to get 2 trips in this season to make up for missing last Jan. Regular visits to J2ski now!

For once we are all planned well in advance.

ADH for Jan and Folgarida with the "Group" in Feb.

My OH has even bought new skis in anticipation.

It is my second trip to ADH and my OH's 3rd or 4th? It was only my second week on skis when I last went, so I am looking forward to conquering that Blue that gave me so much trouble last time LOL

Hi guys, we did ADH in April, first time there and really enjoyed it, excellent variety for all skiers. Loved it
