Who's all booked up??

So - after doing our usual summer routine of trawling through the brochures, we have finally decided on Alpe d'Huez for our January trip - booked it this weekend - woohoo!!

Anybody else booked yet?

Can't wait for the shops to get all the new season gear in, gives us something to do on a Sunday afternoon!!

Oh, and anyone got any hints or tips for ADH?

Me me me! All booked up for Lech. Have been since February, but we have to because if the group. Not been to ADH but only heard good things about it....great snow, good apres, etc.....

Yes all booked up St Anton in January and La Plagne in March. Both big group chalet trips. Almost filled the places.

Alpe D'Huez already pencilled in for 2015, love the place. You will love it. I've been there 4 or 5 times, so know it very well. Whatever you are looking for on the slopes, Alpe D'Huez has it.

It was between there and La Plagne after we decided on France again - and that wasn't an easy task!! Gone for the Petit Prince hotel, a Langley property, looks very swish!!

I've done La Plagne, I thought it was fantastic, a great twin venue with Les Arcs.

La Plagne is new to me, though I've skied Les Arcs a couple of times.

Andy, I though La Plagne was great fun. There isnt a massive challenge over there, some steepish stuff but nothing to need an parachute for. What I really enjoyed was lots of motorway cruising, usually at good high speeds.

I went to Tignes this year and I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Give me the 3v, or Les Arcs/La Plagne anyday.

booked a week in Val Thorens Jan 11 then I have 2 weeks to figure out where (maybe back to L2A and on to Kronplatz ) before getting to Folgarida with the group on Feb 2

dolomites(val gardena) for new year and les arcs in feb.never been to the dolomites always fancied it so had a read up and off we go cant wait.if anybody whos been wants to tell me what its like that would be great.it sounds knockout.

Birdymiller, you will love the Dolomites, stunning scenery and some amazing skiing.

This is worth a watch, shows the circuit anti-clockwise.

Tignes Jan 11 booked since Feb and getting exited already, Les Arc and La Plange this year which was fantastic so fingers crossed its as good?

Jan I am unsure, considering ADH, will look to book in November.

March, but sure - poss 3V or EK.

Ski-ing on the glacier in a ski coaching holiday (as long as it's not incredibly windy or there's an enormous snow storm or something, in which case I will be reading a book in the chalet!)

Maria Alm and Kitzbuhel Xmas and New Year. Back after 2 years out due to moving jobs and countries! Can't wait as bought new skis just before end of last trip and want to get on them!

Booked to go to Madonna di Campiglio next March. New resort for us and both new to the Dolomites, so will be a good adventure :0)

Booked an Inside out teaching trip to Tignes in nov.
And a family chalet in Chatel pds in feb (clashing sadly with the forum Italy trip )

Does anyone know if you can link up from chatel skiing - per de jou and linga lifts to morzine area? (Other than by bus of course)
My app piste map shows arrows going wrong way...

I'm on the Inside Out Skiing coaching trip to Tignes 4th - 7th November

I did a day of ski coaching with them last year, in the dome at Hemel Hempstead, and I've been to the Les Melezes chalet in Tignes Les Boisses 4 times with Mountain Sun.

My husband is coming as well, although he doesn't ski.

The only way I can do it, is to click on 'index' (top right button) and then 'ski chatter' and then a 'new topic' (or whatever it's called) button appears so you can click on that.

Nothing booked here. Got to wait to be discharged from physio (months away) before I can even think about booking, going to be a last minute March/April ski for us, wherever the snow is.

Booked Serre Chevalier with Club Med - sister, niece, me and The Lout for the week.

Club Med have a no single room supplement on dates low season at the moment - very good!

In the process of booking for January for my group of 8. No final decision made, choice of 4 resorts, awaiting confirmation of availability from several operators before booking. Definitely not going to ski in France, thats for sure.
It will either be Italy or Austria for January, and maybe Verbier in March on a possible road trip.
I will report back once its booked, excited already!

btw ADH is great!!!

Booked Les Arcs 1800 today for a week in early Jan. First week on the snow since I had kids!

Yip Yip..La Tania end of Jan. Well, the apartment's booked anyway..still to sort out travel arrangements.
550 euros for ski in ski out apartment sleeping max of 8? Who says France is expensive? ;) (OK so 8 sardines..but even between 5 thats cheap!)
