Four Years later : Back to Europe, Zermatt-Cervinia, son takes father on tour as usual

Hi, in 2009, I joined this forum and got a lot of good advice from many on Europe, Austria in particular and also ski technique (Trencher was the eminence grise then). This year my son took me to Zermatt-Cervinia (he had just turned 6 in 2009) and now is just about 10. For European folks, who maybe interested - it's on-piste family skiing, and just the landscape, it's 6 minutes long, and sharing the wonders of our travels. It maybe the last time for a while for some personal reasons so was a sentimental journey for the Dad anyway, kids! They keep going, thank god for that!

Regardless, we had a very nice time, long flight but Swiss hospitality was great. Only observation which was pretty tough on me, lots of walking on paved roads in ski boots and with skis and poles being carried. Matterhorn and other areas are incredibly beautiful.

You must have kept feeding him 'cos he's grown ! lol...it doesn't seem 2 minutes since you joined here...your doing well keeping up with him
